Description
Hendryx Antique Trout Reel 100 YardHere is an antique Hendryx nickel plated brass trout fly in the harder to find large 100 yard size, as stamped on the bottom of the foot. Plates measure about 2 3/4" to the edge of the raised pillars, with 1" wide pillars. The Hendryx name and early 1876 and 1888 patents are stamped on the foot tabs although worn and hard to read. Very tarnished, I did not attempt to clean. Some of the screws have been replaced. Weighs 4.6 ounces. Cranks stiffly (the spool is warped), with good click in both directions. Note the hard rubber knob.
A fine addition to your collection!
