Unused and in mint condition reels produced by JULIUS VOM HOFE (1837 to 1907) bearing the date of patent acquisition "OCT 8 1 889" for this model, stamped October 8, 1889, in a heavy special box hollowed out of teak by BILL BALLAN, and stamped "58" from the 100 reel limited edition.
