Murray Stewart 300 Fly Reel

Murray Stewart 300. Reel number 84. If you are reading this then you probably already know what this is. Stewart reels are bench made one at a time in Scotland. These are very similar to a Bogdan with a bunch of improvements. The drag and frame strength are vastly improved. He changed the delrin shoes to put an end to hydroplaning that Bogdans experience. The reel has type 3 anodizing and the handle is made from stainless steel. The gearbox is made from stainless steel as opposed to brass used in Bogdans. These reels are about as good as it gets for spey rods and chasing salmon/steelhead. The wait time for a new reel is well over 12 months. This reel is brand new and has never been fished. It is spooled with 250 yards of 50lb gel spun. It comes with the case, and documents. The case has a few very small imperfections.
Please note: This reel is left hand retrieve and can't be changed. Also, I am only willing to ship within the USA if purchased on eBay.
