    Offered for sale is a beautiful old Pflueger Medalist 1494 1/2 DA Fly reel  --   NEW in box .
    Collector Quality --  as clean as you would ever find.   A fingerprint or two from handling while taking the photos
    The fragile old light weight box has Ruth Ann's fly reel written in ink on the side.   The box also contains the original paperwork and the top flap has a price sticker of .29 from Bi Mart in Oregon
    Guessing a vintage of around 1970 or so
    This is the wider spool version of the medalist fly reel and can be either right or left handed retrieve.
