Works very well. Just make sure you pre-sort your change so you don't have any non U.S. currency because it can't differentiate it.

Have to watch constantly as it can throw coins in wrong slots and sometimes there are extra coins in slots. However if you are sorting a large qty it beats hand sorting

Bought to use for my husbands coins instead of using coinstar. Doesn???t specify that it will only take the pre-rounded coin wraps or that you can only do one of each coin type at a time. I had to unscrew it almost all the way to get coins unstuck after the first use because my pennies were slipping through holes in the sorter.

Fun to use. It was a much-appreciated gift. But it jams easily and can be hard to get the stuck coins out. Walmart was wonderful about sending a replacement. Haven't used it yet, but looking forward to it.

I spent so much time Un-Jamming this Royal Sovereign POS, it would have been easier paying Coinstar 12%. Spend the extra money and do yourself a favor... DONT BUY THIS HUNK.

This coin sorter is amazing. I'm very impressed. Got this as a gift and now I thinking of getting myself one. All you do is find any loose change and put it in the coin sorter and wait till coin wrappers fill up.

absolute junk!! the nickel rollers that came with the machine won't fit in the tubes. DOES NOT COUNT MONEY. It just fills the tubes up count is wrong 70 % of the time.

I wish there were a zero star option! They in reality get No stars from me! Purchased one yesterday and it jammed repeatedly. I returned it today Sept 29, 2019 and exchanged it for another (because I thought it may be just a lemon), and again it jammed except this time preceded to dump change within itself. The so called "patented anti-jam technology" is as worthless as they come. I would never recommend this product to anyone else nor will I ever purchase another Royal Sovereign product. If it's not obvious I'm very disappointed with this product.

I would not reccommend this sorter. I manually counted all of my money before starting, and when infinished, i wound up .70 short. I took each roll and dumped them out, manually counted them as i added them back to the machine and found that almost every coin roll had an extra 1-3 coins in it. The bank would love the people that dont do this. I also found some pennies in with my nickels. I wouldnt buy this unless you are manually feeding the precise amount into it somyou can control wat goes into each tube, which really defeats the purpose

This worked well. Three times it jammed during a coffee can full of coins. First time was from a small nail, second was from a flat battery that ended up in my can. Third time was a slightly bent nickle. I flipped it upside down and shook everything out each time. I think if the overflow tray was sloped in the front it would be easier to grab the coins that end up there. but for one use it worked as intended.

Worthless, you have to count the proper amount of coins, into the hopper. If you put to many in it moves them to a storage place, to get them back, you have to take the top off, fish out the coins, then you have to put it back together. IT IS SO MUCH EASIER TO JUST TO COUNT THEM AND WRAP THEM. I gave it a 1 star, but, only because I had to.

It sorts very well. For the price it is great. I love that it is electric and not battery powered. It sorts handfuls at a time. Don't make the mistake that you can pour large amounts into the hopper at at time. It isn't made for that, it is for throwing your change at the end of the day in it instead of in a jar or your dresser drawer. Rolls are perfect and accurate. Worth the cost

should have read reviews. had a cheap one for years and with care it worked fine. some Nichols wont fit down nichol slot which causes jams and Nichols in quarter tube. don't waste your money.

Thes is a horrible product and does not meet my exceptions to actually sort and roll change. The machine is slow and jams a lot and at times nothing happens... I can roll coins myself faster.. this machine is on its way back as a return asap! Don't buy it!

Garbage. Plugged it in and NOTHING. Unfortunately, I filled the hopper first. Now, I have to take it into the garage and tear it apart to get the quarters that are stuck in there. This thing shouldn't be on the shelf.

Took it out of the box, no visible damage had been made to the item or the box it was in or to the box it had been delivered in, set it up, plugged it in.... nothing happened. Doesn't work. Don't buy.

Just bought this today at my local store, ran 0 through it without any problems. It doesn't count the coins so you need to count them on some trial runs to know where the mark is on each roll. Buy extra coin rolls while you're buying this.

Garbage. I don't get the good reviews. This thing is such a piece of garbage that now I don't trust the reviews on Walmart's website. This machine jams up every other time you pour in a handful of change, even if you're doing so slowly. The plastic literally moves when it's jamming because the poor make of this model is so flimsy. I suspect I could roll my change quicker by hand. Save your 'change' and don't bother wasting any of it on this thing.

I just bought it and so far it works perfectly. The reason I didn't give it five stars is apparently they recognise that the hopper will have to come off periodically to clean, and clear jams. This could have been designed differently using a quick lock snap or other mechanism instead of a plastic screw. Also, I think the auger could have been made of sturdier material than plastic, but hey - I don't know what drove the decision making process in that regard. What's more, they could have included a removable cup for the overflow tray since there's plenty of room in the shipping box. I think I'll fashion one out of cardboard and duct tape to make it easier to dump the excess back into the hopper. That way, I'll be able to keep the machine running continuously until all of the tubes are full. The machine seems to dislike being turned off and on frequent with varying amounts of coin in the hopper. Sure, it occasionally jams, but a sharp, light slap of the hand to the right side of the machine takes care of that slight inconvenience. I also noticed that the auger functions better when the hopper is at least half full. the coins tend to give it more stability. All that said suddenly counting my accumulated pocket change has become pretty darn fun!! For me it was worth the Walmart price to purchase this product. I remember back in the nineties, some forgotten product advertising the same solution as a gift for Christmas was sold all over the TV, and it turned out to be nothing more than a plastic nightmare that couldn't perform its with any consistency at all. The Royal sovereign did eighty-six dollars and some change without error. I was cautious and started without the rolls in the tubes at first, and then I dumped the sorted coins back into the hopper and ran the machine with the rolls in the plastic tubes when I was sure it was going to work as advertised. Be sure to save your receipt. I've read some reviews that spoke of it getting the pennies and the nickels mixed up, which makes me think there might be a quality control issue in either the manufacture or shipping process. After all, Walmart carries a thirty day no questions asked policy. If this becomes the case, take it back and exchange it for one that works. Do I recommend this product for the purchase price? Money well spent. Do I recommend this as a gift? This will be a hit.

It is fast, but it is noisy. When you are filling out the search at Walmart.com, it is very aggravating. Every time you put in a letter it tries to tell you what you are spelling. Every time it does that you have to put the curser back in the search box to put in another letter. I hope some one reads this.

PIECE OF JUNK!!!! We tried this several times with and without coin wrappers. The coin count was off one or two coins in each slot every single time. The machine is putting too many coins in the slots. Will be returning this junk!!!!

DOES NOT live up to the summary! Machine jams after dumping a handful of coins in. Coins go into machine and can not retrieve. Instructions are poor it doesn't state why you need to pull the drawer out nor that you need to leave it open for operation. Will be returning.

I have a pocket change Bowl where I dump Change several time a week. Within about 2 or 3 months it fills up. I was using a machine to cash in the saved Change. They charge 15% to use their machine. This little sorter and roller allows me to roll this Change and save that 15%. It works perfectly for about 8 worth of Change. It will pay for itself in 2 uses. It might not be great for a business but it is great for home use. Wish I had it when I gave the funds to my kids. Really nice time saver!

Had 6 in loose change in a three gallon jug, did it in less then an hour. Though I had to go back and resort the nickles, it sorted pennies into that tube. Not many, but I had to check to make sure I got all the pennies out of the nickles. It is best to run it without the paper wraps in the tubes, for this reason. Jammed up a lot so I ended up running it without the top cover on it, so that I could deal with the jamming faster. But still, it is faster then counting and rolling the coins by hand.Note: some jams were due to coins being stuck together which the machine could not deal with. But most were due to the machine trying to sort two coins at the same time. And would be too thick to go through the sorter. The rating, lost one star because I had to resort the coins due pennies being in the nickles. Then next star was lost due to the fact that I had to run the sorter without cover because of jamming.
