My dog and I hike almost every day, and my dog sometimes picks ticks. When I use tweezers I usually only get part of the tick off, and the head is left behind under my dog's skin. He hates it when I'm poking him for a long time trying to dig the head out. So I bought this tick lasso and some tick spoons. I haven't had a lot of success with the tick spoons, but I've been able to remove an ENTIRE tick using the tick lasso several times this spring. Yippee! It worked on regular ticks and on the tiny deer ticks. If you're like me, it might take you a few tries to figure out the technique, but have faith and keep trying...it WILL work! I bought several more tick lassos so I can keep one in my house, one in the car, and one with my hiking/camping gear.

One of the best tic removal tools iv used to remove a tic yet and iv tried a bunch.. The most important thing to achieve when removing a tic is to be able to remove the WHOLE tic. Not just pulling off the body and leaving the mouth parts still imbedded in the animals skin as is usually what happens when you try to pull a tic off with your fingers..The mouth parts are what the tic uses to penetrate the animals skin and is how tic transmits its disease to the animal if it is infected (Lymes disease) .This tool uses a small adjustable Noose to be able to get right down close around the tics neck/ head to allow a gentle rotation and pull out of the ENTIRE tic including the infected mouth parts..I would recommend this tool.

We look Be in the woods, and even when we use tick killing topical treatments on our four dogs, they have multiple ticks buried in on a daily basis in warm weather. While the hard, split foot type of remover is fine for larger ticks, the soft, infinitely adjustable loop of this removal tool is invaluable for tiny nymphs. Which seem to be all we get. Works very well for we pink things as well.

Hello! I just had to email you and let you know that this tick remover really works! I'm sure you already know that but I just have to tell you thank you SO much for such a great product! My dog had a tick on him this weekend, actually I thought he scratched it off and left just the head in his leg. So I thought well, let me try this thing and see if it can get the head out...well it was an actual tick!! The whole thing!! That's how small it was, and the tick remover grabbed it right by the mouth too, just like it was supposed to do!!

This is our second order. We bought our first one quite a while ago and have used it successfully many times. Most recently, I had a tick the size of the head of a pin. I thought it was dried blood from a bite at first. I was not sure I could get the loop on the tick, but I did and it worked great. Removing ticks has gone from being tough to being very easy and slick.

, big or small. Even the smallest tick nymph is easy to remove with this tool.
1.
Press down the loop and put it over the tick, as close to the skin as possible.
2.
Let go of the button and tilt the tick remover perpendicularly against the skin.
3.
Keep the green tip against the skin and twist it 360 degrees between your fingers. Lift away.
We have removed a number of pet ticks with this lasso and every one has come out complete and without effort, even a tiny tick. Because the lasso varies in size, it fits every tick perfectly. Last year we had big tick problems, and we did in fact try out a
