    The spring fits Models 1494 & 1494 1/2
    The washer and screw are made of nickel plated brass.
    The washer fits under the spring. I have seen too many reels with missing washers or washers misplaced on top of the spring.
    I decided to part out this a recently purchased 1495 DA reel . The front plate had some hidden corrosion.
